Blog decision looms

A possible decision might be looming for High Plains Blogger … that would be yours truly.

The decision involves whether I want to keep pursuing this daily goal of posting commentaries,. Yes, the daily goal. I have been writing blogs each day since The Flood, or so it seems. I have had good spells and slow spells.

I am deep in the midst of a slow spell. I have plenty of topics on which to comment. The response has been, well, rather sparse. As in very sparse. I’m in a slump.

I am unsure if my audience, such as it is, has grown weary of my rants. Maybe I’m not as sharp as I once claimed to be.

I believe I’ll know what to do soon after I post this particular item on Highs Plains Blogger. If the comments pour in from readers saying they want me to keep going, well, then I’ll respond accordingly.

If it remains quiet out there in Blog Land, I think that will tell me something, too. Maybe I can monkey around with the blog platform I use to get more response.

Just know that I truly enjoy sharing my world view with you. It’s my view only. I know it has its friends and its foes. Critics are welcome to offer their negative responses. I am a grownup and I can take it. I’ll be honest, I prefer to hear words of support.

I have sought to broaden the subject matter, to include more slice of life entries, rather than just relying on politics and policy.

I’ll know in due course what my decision will be. I’ll keep you posted on what I decide.

Meanwhile … have a great day.

  1. Oh no! Where will I get my Trump bashing news from?

You’ve said similar before. Then, one maybe two days later, you ramped up your TDS even harder. It was like you had withdrawals from not bashing Trump so you hit it twice as hard.

I don’t think you can stop the daily name calling and bashing of Trump and his supporters. But, good luck in your recovery.

    1. You keep accusing me of suffering from TDS. That’s OK. I am fine with that diagnosis. Why can’t you just accept that some of us have views that differ from your own. When I see someone enacting policies that I believe pose an existential threat to our country, I am going to comment on it. Period. I’ll continue to express my outrage and you are free to stand up for an individual who is profoundly unfit to occupy the most noble and revered public office in the land.

      1. Yet, you never blasted Biden for his incompetence that everyone on earth saw. You never blasted Biden for his administrations use of the auto pen. Who knows if Biden was the one that actually signed, or even read, the policies that were signed. Interesting that you used the word ā€œunfitā€ for Trump and never bashed Biden’s unfit mental capacity that the world witnessed.

And just for fun, you didn’t blast the cross dresser in Biden’s administration that kept stealing luggage.

  2. I, for one, am a more-or-less regular reader of your blog. A couple of weeks might go by and then I try to catch up.

I hope you keep at it. We’re about to get into a phase of the news in which the judicial branch starts to strike down Trump’s overreaching executive orders. The courts are going to put this bully in his place. I look forward to what you have to say about it!
