Trump learned zero from first term

Strange as it might seem to many readers of this blog, I actually had harbored a hope — faint though it was — that Donald J. Trump had learned something about governance in the four years between this nimrod’s first and second terms as president.

He didn’t learn a thing.

The only evidence to which I can point is the character and the deep flaws of the men and women he has chosen for the Cabinet posts filled by the incoming POTUS.

Trump has been aided immeasurably the cowardice displayed by Republican senators who command a slim majority in the “world’s most distinguished deliberative body.” There’s not a damn thing distinguished about GOP senators rolling over and being steamrolled by the president.

The way the president has handled the firing of key FBI senior officials for merely doing their job is another example of a lesson ignored by Trump.

Why in the world didn’t someone, say, such as Melania Trump, take the nimrod aside and tell him to study just a little bit the fine points of the Constitution? Dude isn’t wired to study anything.

I keep hearing about bettors making wagers on when Elon Musk will bolt from the executive branch under Trump. It cannot possibly be too soon.

We are seeing a virtual re-run of the “chaos presidency” that Jeb Bush predicted we would get in 2016.  This time, the difference is frightening, given that Trump has no one close to him who can tell him the truth … that he is making a shambles out of the government he took an oath to “defend and protect.”

  1. Again, just for fun.

The article is heavily opinion-oriented and reflects a personal critique of Donald Trump’s governance. Here are several points to consider regarding its merit:

Subjective Tone: The use of informal language, such as “nimrod” and “dude isn’t wired to study anything,” indicates a strong personal bias and emotional response. This diminishes the article’s objective merit and makes it read more like a personal rant than a balanced analysis.

Lack of Evidence: While the author makes claims about Trump’s cabinet choices and their character flaws, these assertions are presented without specific examples or evidence. The merit of an argument is often strengthened by supporting data, which this article lacks.

Political Critique: The article critiques Republican senators for their behavior, labeling it as cowardice. This is a subjective interpretation of their actions and does not account for the complexities of political strategy and party dynamics. A more balanced approach would consider multiple perspectives on their decisions.

Firing of FBI Officials: The reference to Trump’s handling of FBI officials is a significant point of contention. While many may agree with the critique, a more nuanced discussion would analyze the context and differing opinions on such actions.

Predictive Statements: The mention of Jeb Bush’s prediction about a “chaos presidency” serves to reinforce the author’s argument but does so without substantiating whether this prediction has come to fruition in any measurable way.

Speculation: The article includes speculation about Melania Trump’s influence and comments on Elon Musk’s potential departure, which adds to the opinionated nature of the piece rather than providing a factual basis for criticism.

In summary, while the article presents strong feelings and perspectives on Trump’s presidency, its merit is limited due to its opinion-oriented nature, lack of substantiated evidence, and emotional tone. A more effective critique would incorporate factual analysis, specific examples, and a balanced examination of the issues discussed.

    1. Obviously, you are a Trumper who cares more about a person that the country. All of he points you attempted to make were weak. If you can look yourself in the mirror and say that Donald Trump is good for the country, then there is something wrong with you. He is a well-known pathological liar, convicted felon, fraudster, convicted sexual abuser, filed bankruptcy 6 times, and apparently made zero money during the 14 years of his tax returns where he paid $750.00. If you think that is admirable, you must be of low character as well. He has no character or good virtues. It is very simple. He was raised into wealth by a racist who was also crooked. He started his life with $400,000,000 and lost much of it. He regained his wealth by appearing on a loathsome reality show that was ridiculous for anyone but the lower brows to watch. His wife is a whore. There is nothing different between a woman on the streets looking for a hook-up, than a mail-order bride who wants money, power, fame, and fortune. He’s cheated on all three of his wives. They are trash. Every single one of them. Yet, people like you admire them? I don’t get it.

      1. All this doom and gloom. Take some deep breaths. Everything will be okay. We survived Biden doing four years of nothing. I’m sure we’ll survive Trump exposing the corruption, fraud and waste that our government has been doing for who know how long.

Billions of dollars have been uncovered on spending social security to people over 120 years old.

More than a billion has been shown to cover pet bullshit projects in other countries, including terrorists!

Sadly, your concern is Trump’s character. Why aren’t you concerned with the waste and fraud? I’ve yet to hear a leftist even acknowledge the waste, fraud or corruption that’s been uncovered. Trillions of waste, fraud or corruption and only concerned about the character. Just wow!

  2. Lack of evidence as well. So, all you write are opinions, but write as though it’s all facts.

    1. Looks like BJ – or someone assisting him- discovered ChatGPT.

BJ- you didn’t compose the first response on your own did you?

Tell the Truth now- don’t be like Trump.

      1. If you took time to read, you’d see that I told HPB that I was using AI just for fun to see what response came back.

Don’t be a dick, at least without reading first.
