Words fail me

By JOHN KANELIS / johnkanelis_92@hotmail.com

Words cannot possibly do justice to what the nation is watching unfold before us on our TV screens.

Pro-Donald Trump mobsters have stormed the U.S. Capitol Building, egged on by their hero. They have disrupted a constitutional exercise aimed at determining who is the next president of the United States.

The nation’s capital is on lockdown. These vandals have inflicted damage not just on our physical structure, but on democracy itself.

And the president of the United States, the moron for whom these mobs are marching? He owns it … fully.

  1. Every single Republican has denounced this act, including Trump. Where was the left on denouncing all the violence in the summer and fall???? Where was the DC mayor when “protesters” were trashing DC this summer with her curfew? Where was Pelosi and Schumer on denouncing the riots during the summer. All they could say was “they were mostly peaceful”

Today was mostly peaceful. But it is a damn disgrace and there’s no place for this BS in this country. I’m talking about through summer and today, absolutely no place.

This is absolutely horrific and ridiculous! BOTH SIDES HAVE TO ACCEPT FAULT!!!!

When the media talks down to half the country on daily basis, there’s going to be problems. When bloggers put down half the country on a daily basis, there’s going to be problems.

Unlike the rioters and looters, these folks will be strongly prosecuted, as they DAMN WELL SHOULD BE!

Both sides HAVE TO STOP the negativity all the time. we are the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

  2. Stop making apologies for Trump inciting the insurrection we saw today. Shame on him, shame on you. This argument you are offering sickens me.

  3. I am in no way apologizing for Trump. He bears a lot of responsibility, just like many others. In the same way I never apologized for Obama, Pelosi, and Schumer for stating they were proud of “protestors” this summer without EVER denouncing the violence and looting.
