Notice the quotation marks around the words “Election day,” and also notice I didn’t capitalize “day.”
It’s because the actual election day will be15 days from now. However, I am going to march into the belly of the beast sometime Monday to cast my ballots for a slew of candidates and issues along my lengthy ballot in Princeton, Texas.
I still cannot define with clarity why I have decided to break with the tradition of waiting until Election Day to cast my ballot. I won’t try.
I am just going to drive to the polling place and wait to cast my ballot. I am going to vote enthusiastically for a number of races, such as for president and the US Senate. I won’t belabor the points on why. You know why.
It’s a full ballot and none of the candidates with whom I am most familiar present any real threat of a candidate making a deal-breaking mistake between now and the day they count all the ballots. I will split my ballot among Democrats and Republicans.
I do enjoy the pageantry, such as it is, about Election day or Day. Indeed, I would support shutting down everything for Election Day, which this year falls on Nov. 5. Why not make casting our ballots for whom we want to lead us a national holiday?
That’s another story for another day.
A big day awaits tomorrow as Texas goes to the polls.
I’m sure you’re voting for Trump. You’re way too smart to vote for Harris who can’t make a simple sentence without cackling or word salad. All she has is “I’m not Trump”, as she states constantly. She’s even tried to sayTrump is low energy and is struggling. She says this crap as Trump is on a 7:00am talk show and had a late night rally the night before. He does numerous rallies a day while she does small group sessions every several days. Who’s low energy?
At a recent cult gathering in La Trobe PA, Trump rambled at length ( pardon the pun ) about Arnold Palmer’s genitalia.
Kids were in the audience.
He’s a felon who claims he alone can enforce law and order.
We have an old saying in my hometown: “ That fella would rather bark lies while hanging upside down by his toes than stand upright and tell the truth.”
Trump’s character , integrity and morals are lower than whale crap.
I’m hoping Kamala has the last laugh after this clown and con artist is sent to prison.
One, I don’t give a crap about his morals, not in this day and age. I care about results. And Two, he’s proven he can do the things he says. He did it once. There’s no reason he can’t do it again, unless democrats end up with the House and Senate. They would rather take care of illegals and transgenders.

You’re obviously one that’s not voting for Harris, but instead voting against Trump. Has to be the case considering Harris has ZERO accomplishments and no policies of her own, except the ones she’s copied from Trump.
I guess we’ll just cancel each other’s vote.
Why the moderation? We can’t have dialogue when we have to wait hours for comments to be approved, if they are.
FYI, I do have a life apart from this blog. I don’t monitor it 24/7. I approve the vast majority of comments.
