The presumed Republican Party presidential nominee claims to be a devout Christian.
I mean, he says he has “many Bibles” strewn throughout his houses in Florida, New Jersey and … Timbuktu.
Now he’s signing Bibles and selling them for 60 bucks a throw. For what purpose? To raise money to pay legal bills accumulated as he defends himself against multiple felony charges contained in four criminal indictments.
He’s a phony and a fraud, says Mitt Romney among others. Here’s how one can make that presumption.’
When reporters have asked him to cite a “favorite verse or two” from the Bible, the former Bible-thumper in Chief can’t do it. He won’t do it. He says it’s “too personal” to cite a single favorite verse. A reporter once asked him whether he prefers the Old or the New Testament. He answered: “Oh, let me think. They’re equal.”
He is without question, debate or any discussion needed the most un-religious and immoral individual ever to hold the office of POTUS. To think he wants it back simply sends chills throughout my old man’s body.

Here is a brief video that shows what I am talking about. Spoiler alert: It is admittedly compiled by someone who opposes this individual’s claim of piety.
Donald Trump Can’t/Won’t Name His Favorite Bible Verse (youtube.com)
Interesting, when I read your article earlier today, Inwas inclined to believe you. With your hatred, I know youāll disregard completely. But, this evening my wife and I had dinner with one of our churchās ministers. Without context, I asked him what his favorite verse is. His response was something like āitās to hard to pick one without coordinating with a circumstance. When you read the Bible as much as I do, hundreds become a favorite.ā That quote was not exact. I did paraphrase some. He never gave a verse. I then told him about your article and he said something like āthatās about right.ā He said that people that read the Bible often donāt think in terms of a favorite verse. Those that read it much less are more likely to have a favorite.
He could’ve cited John 3:16, or the 23rd Psalm, which are universally known, perhaps adding a particular spin on their significance to him. But he didn’t. I’ll just stick to my theory that the ex-POTUS is ignorant of what the Bible teaches us about, oh let’s see, humility, love, grace, compassion, the need to pray in solitude. Do you believe this guy embodies any of that?
I guess our minister could have cited one of those as well. But, he chose the answer he gave me. Those are versus that most us that donāt read the Bible like we should do could recite. Thus, giving credence to what our minister said.
I do feel Trump is a born again Christian. A lot changes in oneās life over the years. Iād like to think Iām a much better person now than say 20 years ago. I believe youāve used statements like people change their views over time when questioned about Biden changing course on issues over the years. If thatās true, Trump could also have completely different views on all things than he did 20 years ago.
Donald John Trump is a born-again asshole!
Thatās not very Christian-like!
