It was too much to expect a quick fix, an early and immediate end to the angry rhetoric that accompanied the tenure of Donald Trump as president of the United States.
Perhaps it was naive to expect such a miraculous occurrence.
Still, with President Biden’s aggressive approach to dealing with the myriad crises confronting the nation, I had a smidgen of hope that there might be some relief from the white-hot expressions coming from those on the right, the far right and from the political loony bin.
One week into the Biden presidency, I continue to wait for the relief. I fear it’s going to take a long while.
We keep hearing from the QAnon nut jobs who were elected to Congress. The Trumpkin Corps keeps yammering about how their voices will not be stilled, that by golly, more than 74 million of them cast their ballots for The Donald. They ignore the obvious, which is that President Biden collected 81 million-plus votes. And … he rolled up 306 Electoral College votes, the same number Trump pulled in four years earlier; remember, too, that Trump called his victory in 2016 over Hillary Clinton a “landslide,” which of course it was nothing of the sort.
My sincere eternal hope is that we can restore much more civility to our discourse than we have seen and heard during the Trump Era. Donald Trump is vanquished from the White House. His minions in Congress remain in office. They continue to whoop and holler about vote fraud. They bitch about Joe Biden’s aggressive use of executive orders. They gripe about his big and bold ideas to salvage our economy. The lunatics among them keep using social media to harp on conspiracy theories resulting from all the lies that Trump fed them.
The tone will improve. That’s my hope. I await the day I when can call it my expectation.
I believe it would have started much smoother if his puppet masters didn’t force such harsh immediate actions that took away thousands of jobs with no instant new jobs for them. Opening the borders during a pandemic, paying for abortions in other countries, and giving China and other countries the upper hand wasn’t a good start. I thought you stated at one time he was a moderate? We’re not seeing that.
This is for all of you who proudly voted Biden/Harris because of your disdain for Trump. Thought you’d like to know how your “President” is doing during his first 4 days in office.

Let’s take a look at the Biden/Harris administration —
– A loss of 52,100 jobs in oil.
– Ended energy independence for the United States.
– Canada and Texas are suing Biden.
– Antifa (just an idea right), continue to riot and burn down Portland and Seattle.
– Created a new glass ceiling for girls to hurdle, ruining so many chances for scholarships with his “progressive” transgender programs allowing boys to compete against girls.
– Created a new federal property mask mandate, which he broke countless times already.
– Is now allowing illegal immigrants to be counted for representation in congress.
– A complete halt on student loan forgiveness that he promised.
– A complete halt on the $2000 stimulus program he promised.
– He shot down a Trump admin order to lower the cost of insulin.
– He shot down a Trump admin order to lower the cost of epinephrine.
– Rescinds Trump order banning Chinese Communist involvement in US power grid
– $1.6 billion in gross wages lost.
And JUST RECENTLY – 8 Chinese bombers, 4 fighters, and 1 sub-hunter just breached Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone, crossing the Taiwan Strait.
Gas is up 50 cents a gallon here since election day based on speculation. $1.89 here at most gas stations on election day. Now $2.39.
Everything they’ve done in THE LAST WEEK has benefitted other countries and hurt Americans.
But HEY, at least Biden hasn’t tweeted mean words. And, we have a woman Vice President. Wake up America!!!!
