Donald Trump’s choices for many Cabinet posts are revolting, but truth be told they shouldn’t surprise anyone.
Many of them mirror the boss’s own lack of government experience.
Matt Gaetz, Trump’s pick to be attorney general, has a law degree but has barely practiced law. RFK Jr., Trump’s choice to head health and human services, has not a lick of experience in health or human services. Tusli Gabbard, the designated director of national intelligence, has zero experience as a spook.
Do you get where I’m going with this?
Trump’s Cabinet not only will reflect POTUS’s demand for loyalty, but will reflect his own ignorance of how government works.
I smell a whole lot of chaos brewing within the West Wing.
Compared to Biden’s DEI picks, these are some excellent picks. You, CNN, NNC, and MSNBC seem to be the only ones with concerns. Well, except uneducated leftists.
No problem with ‘Mayor Pete’ being appointed Secretary of Transportation with no prior qualifications,”
Assistant HHS Secretary Rachel Levine, a gender ideologue once a professor of pediatrics and psychiatry who contends that he is a woman and that children should have access to chemical castrations and genital mutilation surgeries.
HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra, “not a doctor, he’s a lawyer;” Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, “no energy background, Michigan Governor;” Council of Economic Advisors Chair Jared Bernstein, “not an economist, Bachelor’s degree in music, masters in sociology;” and “just for kicks…Bill Nye, the environmentalist ‘Science Guy’ — no background in environmentalism or science, he’s a mechanical engineer and comedy writer.”
BJ,
You make immature arguments. The question at hand concerns Donald Trump’s choices for his cabinet. It does not involve Biden’s choices. It’s a pretty good sign of a weak argument when the argument focuses on points other than the one at hand.
It is apparent that Donald Trump values one thing over all others in his appointees – unquestioned loyalty. Trump wants yes men and women. He doesn’t want anyone who will challenge him or counsel him. Matt Gaetz for AG – that’s a joke of a pick. Contrary to your statements, more than a few Republican senators don’t like this guy. And he’s under an ethical cloud. No wonder Trump wants to make him a recess appointment.
RFK for HHS. Another horrible choice. He will set the health system back decades in this country.
Elsie Stefanik for ambassador to the UN – say goodbye to an independent Ukraine.
John Kanelis has been saying for years that Trump has no business being anywhere near the White House. Now John is documenting the craziness of Trump operating the levers of government. John is a modern-day Paul Revere. You, on the other hand, are a disgrace to our country as you aid and abet the unhinged fool known as Donald Trump.
Thanks Ted! I’ll take the “disgrace” tag, along with 76,000,000 other Americans.
“Modern day Paul Revere”, now that’s funny. You have a good one, sir.
