Harris has the ‘big mo’

Momentum well might be the great predictor of who finishes first in the 2024 presidential race.

From my North Texas vantage point, in a county that borders Democratic Party hotbed in Dallas County, it looks for all the world as if Vice President Kamala Harris has the “big mo” as she and Donald Trump gallop down the stretch.

Harris has declared she is going “all positive” in the final hours of this most bitter campaign. Trump’s strategy? He’s going in the other direction. Harris talks about her momentum. Trump refers to Democrats as members of a “demonic party.” Harris speaks of “joy in the morning.” Trump says an assailant would have to take out the “fake news” staffers to get to him, which he said “wouldn’t bother me.”

Who is sounding like a winner? Who’s the loser?

I dare not say out loud what I am hoping in my heart.

  1. Letā€™s hope the Mo carries her across the finish line.

Time for Trump and Trumpism to be left on the ash heap of history.

May the arc of justice bend in her favor.

    1. Comā€™on, DM. Youā€™re not following Michael Moore? Heā€™s a lunatic! At this point, nothing really surprises me.

Best of luck for your candidate tomorrow. Not really. Sorry, I canā€™t wish luck when it means our country. So, instead Iā€™ll simply wish you luck in life. Beat of luck!

      1. BJ-

My sincerest best wishes to you and yours- but better than my wishes I ask the God of all comfort, grace and mercy to bless and keep you always.

Michael Moore is a knucklehead ( like Tim Walz šŸ˜†).

But the article wasnā€™t written by Moore. It was written by a highly respected pollster.

Highly respected pollster- ha! What a contradiction in terms- like jumbo shrimp.

Trump is crazy- but I donā€™t think the country falls apart if he wins. The cooler heads will hopefully put him in Mar a Lago and let him sway to his music list for four years- like the Dems did with Biden by keeping him away from the actual levers of power.

If Kamala wins I hope she doesnā€™t attack our religious freedoms- us Catholics suffer with guilt and a long history of venerating our martyrs.

Tomorrow the sun will rise in the east and set in the west.

Doctors , firefighters, teachers, businesses- will all strive to love and serve their neighbors without asking who they voted for.

America is great because America is good. We canā€™t help ourselves- itā€™s the way we were raised- at least the vast majority of us.

May God Bless America and forgive us our sins. May our divisions cease and our unity – E Pluribus Unum- become a closer reality.

        Much affection brother!

        DM
