October surprise explodes!

You know, it’s not every day when we get t witness an “October surprise” explode in the face of a political candidate seeking an entirely different reaction.

Republican nominee for POTUS, Donald Trump, sought to stage a rally in Madison Square Garden. His intent, I am left to presume, was to gin up support for his cause.

It did not work!

The rally instead has mobilized a key voting bloc to oppose Trump’s election bid. It was a horrifying display of misogyny, racism, xenophobia, sexism … you name it.

We’re now hearing from Puerto Rico and other Latino leaders declare categorically that they cannot possibly vote for Trump based on the trash tossed out from the MSG podium over the weekend.

What momentum Trump might have thought he had going into the final week of his campaign against Vice President Kamala Harris has been halted. Indeed, Harris appears to be reversing the tide … in her favor!

The so-called “joke” about Puerto Rico being an “island of garbage floating in the ocean” was too much for the millions of Americans of Puerto Rican descent.

Oh, and Trump, using his tired dodge about “not knowing anything” about the tirade, is paying a huge political price for the dipshit’s comments made on Trump’s behalf.

None of us should be surprised at what we heard at the MSG encounter. It is the kind of attitude and invective we have heard from Trump since the moment he entered political life in June 2015.

However, for it to be thrust on us at this stage of a political campaign on the candidacy of a man who has no business even running for this noble office.

  1. LOL!!! With all the Israel flags, Jewish speakers, people of all races and genders that were present, simply, you’re wrong. Polls this morning actually show an uptick in Trump’s numbers.

Oh, Trump didn’t know everything that Hinchcliffe was going to say. Hell, Hinchcliffe probably didn’t know what he’s say. He’s well known for off the cuff comedy. It’s not necessarily my style, but millions apparently follow him.

I guess we’ll see in a week, or two, f it hurt Trump.

  2. I’m a Latino who had decided not to vote.

After the freak show at MSG I’m voting for Kamala now.

You’re damn right it backfired on Trump. At least it did with me.

  3. Sounds more like voting on feelings and not policy.

If folks are okay with zero policy and only want abortion and open borders, that’s what we’ll have.

Harris has already said we need to look at the first and second amendment. It’s a slippery slope.

It’s not like we are voting for someone we plan to send a Christmas card to. We are voting for our country.

  4. What truly solidified me to vote in this election was Kamala, media, and the rest of the left continuing the Hitler, fascist bullshit.

Others democrats and the media called fascists.

    Barry Goldwater
    Ronald Reagan
    George W Bush
    Richard Nixon
    John McCain
    Mitt Romney
    Nikki Haley

  5. I thought it was interesting that Jon Stewart, who constantly blasts Trump, came out in support of Hinchcliffe’s comedy set.

I still don’t think Hinchcliffe should have done those jokes at a political rally.

  6. Shadow Sen. Zoraida Buxo from Puerto Rico endorsed Trump. I have many friends from Puerto Rico that all endorse Trump. Furthermore, his numbers went up after the MSG rally, not down.

I would love to hear your thoughts on Joe Biden actually calling 70 million plus people garbage. Surprise? Lol
