The agency\u2019s contention that it has evidence that incriminates the Texan makes it even worse.<br \/>Here\u2019s what has troubled me, though, from the beginning of this doping controversy. It\u2019s been the nature of Armstrong\u2019s so-called \u201cdenial.\u201d His answer seems almost like a rote response. He keeps saying he\u2019s \u201cnever failed a drug test.\u201d I don\u2019t ever recall him denying categorically ever taking performance-enhancing drugs. His response has been simply that he\u2019s passed all the tests administered to him.
