{"id":6827,"date":"2014-10-19T19:23:51","date_gmt":"2014-10-19T19:23:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/highplainsblogger.com\/?p=6827"},"modified":"2014-10-19T19:23:51","modified_gmt":"2014-10-19T19:23:51","slug":"footballer-gets-goofy-underwear-endorsement-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/highplainsblogger.com\/?p=6827","title":{"rendered":"Footballer gets goofy underwear endorsement deal"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"twitter-share\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/intent\/tweet?via=jkanelis\" class=\"twitter-share-button\">Tweet<\/a><\/div>\n<p>Joseph Randle, who plays football for the Dallas Cowboys, gets accused of trying to steal underwear and cologne from a Frisco, Texas, department store.<\/p>\n<p>Then he gets an endorsement deal from an underwear maker, which then supplies him essentially with a lifetime supply of skivvies.<\/p>\n<p>So help me, I don&#8217;t whether to laugh, scream or see a shrink.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bleacherreport.com\/articles\/2236838-joseph-randle-and-meundies-partnership-announced-following-arrest?utm_source=facebook.com&#038;utm_medium=referral&#038;utm_campaign=programming-national\">Joseph Randle and MeUndies Partnership Announced Following Arrest<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The underwear company is MeUndies, which agreed to pay Randle enough money to pay him back for the fine levied against him by the Cowboys for getting caught trying to filch the goods from the Dillard&#8217;s store in Frisco &#8212; allegedly.<\/p>\n<p>A MeUndies official said this about the deal: &#8220;Joseph felt the need to turn a negative situation into a positive and teamed up with <span class=\"spellcheck\"><span class=\"spellcheck\"><span class=\"spellcheck\"><span class=\"spellcheck\">MeUndies<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> to give back to his community and help families in need.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Negative into positive?<\/p>\n<p>The negative is that he&#8217;s been charged with a misdemeanor.
