Prosecutors sought a six-month prison term. They got most of what they sought. That&#8217;s fine.<\/p>\n<p>I do, though, want Bannon to serve the hardest time possible given the nature of his crime. He thumbed his nose at a duly constituted congressional committee&#8217;s demand that he testify about what he knew during 1\/6 insurrection. It is a form of judicial obstruction, which to my mind makes it a damn serious crime.<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;ll come out of the slammer in four months, likely smirking and preening the way he does.
