President Ronald Reagan ran for re-election in 1984 under the slogan that it was “Morning in America.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Eight years later, Bill Clinton ran for president with a phrase coined in the 1992 campaign war room: “It’s the economy,\u00a0 stupid.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Here we are in 2020. Joe Biden is running for president and I believe I have discerned what might be the slogan of this campaign.<\/p>\n

“Will you shut up, man?”<\/em><\/p>\n

Biden blurted that tidbit out Tuesday night while Donald J. Trump was interrupting him for the umpteenth time.<\/p>\n

There you have it. Look for t-shirts, ballcaps and perhaps even face masks with “Shut up man!”<\/em> plastered on the garments.<\/p>\n

It works for me.<\/p>\n

Well said, Mr. Vice President.<\/p>\n\n
