He threw a perfect game. Twenty-seven batters came to the plate; they made 27 outs.<\/p>\n<p>It was picture perfect.<\/p>\n<p>Larsen died on New Year&#8217;s Day at the age of 90. Media have reported that Larsen pitched the &#8220;only <em>perfect game<\/em> in World Series history.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I want to put that feat into its proper perspective. Not only did he throw the only perfect game, he threw the only World Series no-hitter \u2026 <em>period!<\/em> Do you get where I&#8217;m going with this?
