I don&#8217;t know what in the world he was trying to say. A certain portion of his wind energy riff is getting the most social media attention. Here is what the president said:<\/p>\n<p><em>We\u2019ll have an economy based on wind. I never understood wind. You know, I know windmills very much. I\u2019ve studied it better than anybody. I know it\u2019s very expensive. They\u2019re made in China and Germany mostly \u2014 very few made here, almost none. But they\u2019re manufactured tremendous \u2014 if you\u2019re into this \u2014 tremendous fumes. Gases are spewing into the atmosphere. You know we have a world, right? So the world is tiny compared to the universe. So tremendous, tremendous amount of fumes and everything. You talk about the carbon footprint \u2014 fumes are spewing into the air. Right? Spewing. Whether it\u2019s in China, Germany, it\u2019s going into the air. It\u2019s our air, their air, everything \u2014 right?
