Acosta posed the question and then Trump went off.<\/p>\n<p>Acosta&#8217;s question dealt with the refugee &#8220;caravan.&#8221; Trump didn&#8217;t like the tone of the question and then he blasted Acosta for being a &#8220;rude, terrible person.&#8221; He said CNN &#8220;should be ashamed&#8221; for employing Acosta.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/cnns-jim-acosta-press-pass-suspended-by-white-house-sarah-sanders-announces?fbclid=IwAR23egAJSyvKgCJnO6m7v0kejJBE67MliXm95aC4lxk3wexQ5jOMgAjzC4M\">POTUS vs. CNN<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then, later in the day, the White House revoked Acosta&#8217;s press credentials, denying him access to sources within the White House and the West Wing.<\/p>\n<p>White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders issued a Twitter message that said:\u00a0<em><span style=\"list-style: none; text-align: left; color: #1c2022; text-transform: none; text-indent: 0px; letter-spacing: normal; font-family: Helvetica,Roboto,'Segoe UI',Calibri,sans-serif; font-size: 16px; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; text-decoration: none; word-spacing: 0px; display: inline !important; white-space: pre-wrap; cursor: text; direction: ltr; word-wrap: break-word; orphans: 2; float: none; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; background-color: transparent;\">President Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration. We will, however, never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern&#8230;<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>So, that was the pretext for the White House pulling a CNN reporter&#8217;s credentials.<\/p>\n<p>Nonsense.
