It&#8217;s one of those things that makes you think, or actually <em>say<\/em>, I can&#8217;t believe I just heard that.<\/p>\n<p>A fellow I know was talking to someone else. They were talking\u00a0during the past weekend about driving fast cars and their experiences at the wheel of said vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I got the car up to 105 miles per hour,&#8221; this guy said, &#8220;but I figured that was fast enough, since I had my wife and kids in the car with me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Huh? What the &#8230; ? Fast enough? Do ya think?<\/p>\n<p>Hoo, boy.<\/p>\n<p>I laughed out loud. I looked another individual I know. We made eye contact. She and I were thinking precisely the same thing: Did he just say what I think I heard him say?<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m trying to imagine what it would be like to drive that fast under <em>any<\/em> circumstances.
