At least one group &#8212; the Freedom from Religion Foundation &#8212; has objected.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.newschannel10.com\/story\/30146766\/in-god-we-trust-on-law-enforcement-vehicles-causing-controversy\">A non-controvery erupts<\/a><\/p>\n<p>My question: Why?<\/p>\n<p>FFRF says the slogan forces religion on those who object to it.<\/p>\n<p>Seriously. They believe that.<\/p>\n<p>The phrase is on our currency. Courtrooms all across the nation have it tacked to walls behind judges&#8217; benches. The phrase &#8220;In God We Trust&#8221; has been affirmed by the U.S. Supreme Court as an appropriate expression in government venues.<\/p>\n<p>But, by golly, some Americans object to it. My guess is that they&#8217;d object to just about anything.<\/p>\n<p>OK, then.
